Shipping Information

Workplace Emporium, experts at shipping furniture, offers free delivery on our products and we will determine the best way to ship your selected items based on size, weight and delivery restrictions. Small box items will typically ship via UPS or FedEx Ground.  Larger items will ship via truck and include tailgate delivery. Our Expert Precision Services approach will be used for all large and heavy weight items and large shipments. 

Delivery Fees:

Workplace Emporium strives to make your shopping experience a simple and professional experience and will review any delivery fees and details with you as required.  We are here to assist you with all your furniture and accessory needs.  

Delivery methods

Small Package Delivery: Shipments where any single package weighs less than 100 pounds may be delivered by UPS, FedEx or DHL into your office or home.  Small products or shipments can be left without a signature as requested in your original purchase order.   If not available, the Shipping Provider will either automatically redeliver or leave specific instructions on how to arrange for a redelivery. Typical range of delivery date allows up to 1 week and will be noted on your confirmation.

Truck Delivery: Large items and shipments will be delivered by a selected carrier equipped to handle larger packages such as ABF, Yellow, Roadway, etc. Drivers are not required to remove the product from the truck and may need assistance to complete the delivery. This method of shipment is utilized only for bulky items or commercial customers with a loading dock. The date range indicated on your order confirmation will allow up to 1 week to 10 business days for transit time from date of shipment.

Assisted Truck Delivery: In cases where truck deliveries require driver assistance with removing the product from the truck and bringing it in the door, these items and shipments will be identified when purchasing. This occurs with large bulky, but not necessarily heavy items.  Driver assistance with these deliveries will be provided. Your delivery date range allows for a one (1) week transit time allowance from the date of shipment and confirmed by email. 

Expert Delivery Service: All Large, fragile or heavier items and shipments requiring special handling will be delivered via a national furniture delivery service. You will be contacted by the Furniture Service Provider before the delivery to arrange and confirm a day and approximate time of delivery. Two delivery staff people will deliver the products to your room or area of choice.   A signature will be required for confirmation of receipt and delivery.   For large shipments requiring furniture delivery service providers, a three (3) week allowance for transit time from date of shipment. 

Premium Delivery Service: Fragile, large or heavier items requiring special handling (simple assembly, stairs, etc.) will require a delivery by a national furniture delivery service provider. The delivery service provider will contact you prior to the delivery to arrange a day and approximate time of delivery. Two moving staff people will deliver the product to your room of choice, assembling the products setting them in place and will remove all packaging materials. A signature will be required. Your order confirmation and date range will allow up to 3 weeks for transit time from date of shipment.

Delivery Time: We at Workplace Emporium strive with all of our suppliers and warehouses to minimize lead times at all levels for our customers.  Items shipping by truck or small package carriers, we allow up to 1 week for transit time. On Special Delivery Requirements or large shipments, we allow up to 3 weeks for transit due to the special handling required on these deliveries. Delivery dates indicated on your confirmation notice reflects both the time for shipment of the product and the transit time depending on the method of transportation. Any change or Special request on your delivery schedule should be immediately addressed with our Sales Representatives and can be reached at 1-877-335-3050. We are happy to assist you with any priority quick ship items or special requests whenever possible. 

Assembly

Items that may require assembly are typically noted as RTA (Ready to Assemble) or KD (Knocked Down). RTA furniture costs much less than you would expect to pay because you do the final assembly, and shipping charges are lower due to the smaller/flat packages.  Most assemblies have been simplified with the use of cam locks and usually requires only a screwdriver to complete.  If there is any question or problem with any assembly, feel free to contact us at 1-877-335-3050 and we can either assist you over the phone if possible or will direct you to a local service provider for assistance.

Returns and Damage

At Workplace Emporium, we stand behind every product we sell. If for any reason you need to return your order, contact our office within one week of receipt at 1-877-335-3050 to review your options. Returned products must be returned in a new condition and returned in the original packaging.  All returns must have the required preauthorization. Any unauthorized returns will be considered non-refundable. All outbound and return freight charges, in addition to any restocking fees, may apply pending the circumstances.  In the event any damage has occurred with your shipment at delivery, it is imperative you contact our office immediately at 1-877-335-3050.  Providing we are notified in the required timely manner, all efforts will be made to assess any damage or replacement options.  Workplace Emporium requires specific notations of damage on the delivery receipt.  This ensures our ability to fully refund or replace your purchase. Carrier regulations typically require notification within 15 days of receipt of the merchandise.

Order Cancellations and Changes

A request to change or a need to cancel an order,  change an item, color, size, ship to address, etc., requires an immediate call to our office at 1-877-335-3050 to review all options.  As long as the items have not shipped and was not a Special Order, accommodations may be available.  (See Returns and Damage in the event the product has shipped and changes cannot be made).
